Recuva (pronounced "re·cov·ah") is a freeware data recovery program, developed by Piriform, and runs under Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2003 and 2000.[2] It is able to recover files that have been "permanently" deleted and marked by the operating system as free space. The program can also be used to recover files deleted from flash/USB drives, memory cards, or MP3 players.
